BrawlCats is very similar to Super Smash Brawl. However, BrawlCats focuses more on only one gameplay mechanic as the main focus. That is the knock-back feature that applies when you do more damage to the enemies. Unfortunately, due to the lack of focus on other gameplay mechanics. This enjoyable experience soon becomes more infuriating than fun. I feel this game would've benefited more if it had much more movesets.
Attacking the enemy doesn't feel very satisfying. The AI is decent but can often be irritating when faced with the same enemy jumping back to safety every time. The music is great. The sounds are decent. I just wish there was more focus on what made Super Smash Brawl a great experience. I really feel the Developers lost focus on this project. They seemed to focus much more post-processing and making the game look great. There was still a lot of care put into the gameplay mechanics. I just feel it lacked a lot of features that would've made this feel more like a Brawl than a tedious experience.
Overall, it's enjoyable! I do recommend trying it! Great work! :D
