ok, you walk up to the door grab that thing sticking out of it usually about mid-way down the door called the knob, and then try turning it. It usually will only go in one direction but if it goes both it doesn't matter which way you turn it. once you turned till it will not turn any more you then need to either push or pull the door open. You will be able to tell this simply by trying either to push or pull the door and if you can't do one then try the other. So if for example if you tried pulling it and it won't let you then try pushing it. Now that you're able to move the door you will want to open it to a large enough gap between it and the doorway so you can walkthrough. that is how you open an unlocked door. next week's lesson is on how to open doors that are locked.
