And I too like to think of donations as real donations, but I’m pretty sure, that there will always be people expecting you to churn out more content in less time and the last thing, I want to do, is give people the wrong impression.
People will always demand more, as a creator it’s up to you to define limits. If donations are only to support your ideas without affecting the speed that you work with, then so be it. It’s perfectly reasonable for an indie dev to do so.
As long as you are not promising faster results, you should not feel pressured to deliver faster. Just be yourself and let your creativity flow through your creations at your own pace :)
