Pretty sure I read the answer in here before.  Check a few pages down, I think the  old folder was in data/something/something., Ctrl-F is your friend.   The new saves should be in the same location as the PC ones under your exploded folder, I think.

Two or three pages down. Ctrl-F is very much your friend. Look for data/ (with the / at the end).

I'm on android so I got a problem with finding the file. Do you have any idea where it could be on android? If you don't it's alright and I appreciate the quick replies

So am I my dude :p

A couple of pages down there is a post that has the paths for both the old and the new saves. Search for  "data/" in your browser window and you will find it. It's 18 days old or so.

Okay can I ask what are you using to view the files?

I checked again and all I see is live data and action data so idk which one it is if any of these. I also already saw the comment about the save files but I'm still struggling finding them

I am quoting:

You should find you own saves from the old apk game in :

internal storage/Android/data/harem.hotel/file/saves

and put it into the new game

Internal storage/android/data/cyou.joiplay.renpy/files/harem hotel/saves

You need to use a file manager of some description, either the one that comes with your Android or one you downloaded from google play. You copy the saves from folder A to folder B.

Once you are done, open the new version of the game and your saves should all be there.

If you cannot find folder A... Then I cannot help you mon.

I went on the folder but there's nothing  on the data folder. It's literally empty

If your file manager offers the option, try searching for all .save files. However, it sounds like you uninstalled the app and your android decided that the saves should go with it.

Probably you updated your android to version 11. Starting from android 11 there is no way to work with android/data folder because google restricted this. Try to find a program that can get around this restriction.

*lucky me, I found news about this new rule and restricted android updates before it forced me to update*

Whelp... When this tablet dies, I guess I'll  buy a hybrid pc then. At least I can still access all  of my data on one of those. For now.

Going around that limitation probably requires rooting the device, which is always a bit of an iffy proposition.

Yes, probably you are right and Root will be needed.

Hybrid pc will be a good choice. Im too very tired of these limitations and restrictions that google puts in theyr system.
