Ignoring that for a moment though... Personally, my biggest gripe with the game is the derailment that the story suffered.
The game starts as a relatively lighthearted harem sim.
MC inherits a hotel that only accepts women, along with an elf slave.
We are then introduced to a broken legal system, a made-up religion that gets more confusing the more you learn about it, an abolitionist subplot with a (literal) genius slave whose idea of persuasion is "give people a concussion", billionaires who have long since checked in their brains at the entrance (which, okay, we have some RL examples, but still), high-ranking politicians with a similar mindset (and again, but still), unrestricted AIs who may or may not die in the relatively near future, and, just for good measure, our yandere girlfriend's idea of pillow talk is telling us that our (eventual) child with our now-beloved elf is an abomination.
None of this was part of the premise.
"There isn't enough game in your game" is not an entirely unwarranted criticism, but, on the scale of "harem sim", it rates well below "why is there a possibly world-conquering AI in my harem sim?", IMO.
It's still fun, mind, but we've long since lost sight of the rails, and possibly sprouted wings in the interim. And then got hijacked.
