It's an error from the same file, so... I presume you are fine now?

Spell check: replaying the Autumn farm event (one of those horses is freaky, man).
The church of Gaius apparently has a "grant arbiter".
A GRANT arbiter is somebody who arranges grants. according to rules and regulations.
Presumably, given that he is something like their Pope-equivalent, he should be the granD arbiter.
Probably capitalized, too, since it's a title.
Edit: also, all instances of "The Capitol" should probably be find-replaced with "Capitol City". The capitol is, by definition, either a building or a hill.
Edit: also, a costumer is somebody who makes costumes. That like should probably be "You're out most values customer!"
Right, I should have worded that better.
I redownloaded the 0.18.2 patch and the file seems to be the same *as 0.19*. I may have been playing on the original 0.18 update (which, in my old zip, has a smaller size).
Updating that file from the full download fixed the issue, though it would have been enough to use the much smaller 0.18.2 patch.
The garden.rpa I have, which has a size of 175.349.985 bytes, has the following definition:
def garden_daily_stuff(garden, day):
Which is called in scripts.rpa as:
garden_daily_stuff(GARDEN, day, should_jin_meddle)
I don't know at which point this was changed, but it worked fine in 0.18.2.
My 0.18 patch zip was downloaded on 2024-10-13.
The garden.rpa file in the full download has a size of 215.225.914 bytes.
Edit: I redownloaded the 0.18.2 patch and the file seems to be the same.
I may have been playing on the original 0.18 update?
Game is still googleable for a while, but I would suggest setting up an external website linking to the itch page.
They aren't removing the game, they are just delisting it while they bend over and lube up.
That does, of course, mean that you are getting Bubba's help in performing the same maneuver, but at least the game is still up.
Since 0.19 is almost done, here are a few bugs of 0.18:
- Food drive quest: the quest requirements and the available items (bug spray, fertilizer) overlap, which makes it impossible to read the quest requirements.
- Events interlock: Kate and Juliet appear in the hot springs before the event that officially sees them invited to the hot springs.
- The event that invites Kate and Juliet to the hot springs can trigger before Felicity and Emma come live at the hotel (if the Kate questline is advanced before buying the extra floor). This results in Ashley talking about how Emma and Felicity have changed despite the fact that we have not yet seen any sign of that change.
They do.
He's using Honey Select to make the pictures and videos, and the 3D assets he's using are not licensed for commercial reuse, including any render thereof.
He got explicit permission for the current monetization model, so that is perfectly fine, but selling the software on, say, steam or GOG... That would run a lawsuit risk.
The situation is even more complicated now, since Illusion no longer exists as a company, since he would have to track down who owns the IP.
Well, you can take pride in the fact that your own "Illusion" (http://www.illusion.jp/) made it possible for Runey to create this.
And yes, he did ask for permission.
Isn't it great when creative people help creative people create creative works? (I hope Google translates this right :P)
Multiple parts, at best, means multiple zips that you will have to download, one by one in their entirety, to play the game once you are finished. PAR files, essentially, for those who are old enough to remember those, or Rxx files if you ever used RAR.
Separating the game into multiple single-character stories is simply unfeasible, partly because character stories are intertwined, which means you *will* need additional characters to continue a given character's storyline, but mostly because of the sheer amount of work it would entail.
I have... A complicated relationship with the character of Ashley. "Half-breeds are an abomination" really turns me off (look up "mestizo" for more context).
On the flip side, natural Ashley is so fucking huggable, I am willing to forgive her casual racism. She doesn't really mean it anyway, right?
Right?
I'm not sure that's possible. The Illusion software Runey is using has a somewhat complicated license.
As far as I understand, he contacted the company, to be sure that he was in the clear, and they gave him permission to release under a "free with benefits" license: he can get Patreon support , and release to patrons first, and he can get donations for the final versions, but he cannot sell the software, per se.
He would have to contact Illusion again, and get permission for a full commercial release, which is definitely not impossible - as long as they get a share of the royalties - but it does mean extra legal hassle that, at this time, is probably not worth it.
So... Maybe for the final version? Don't despair, but also don't hold your breath.
Are you sure you are not thinking of the restaurant scene? Because that one has a yellow option locked behind exhibitionism, and it doesn't appear in the gallery, so it's actually a one-off... But there are no yellow options in the clocktower scene.
Unless it's removed entirely if you don't meet the prereqs, but usually that isn't how it works.
Edit: tested on a fresh game, and nope, that was correct, and indeed you don't get it in the Gallery on replay.
There is a yellow option that is unlocked at, I think, Exhibitionism 11.
So, yes, it is technically possible to miss content.
Bug report: garden content only advances when you sleep, not when you "sleep with..."
Possible bug report: bowling bar tournaments are limited, at some point you start getting "no more tournaments this week" even though you haven't taken part in any tournaments for weeks. Possibly related to the above.
Edit: Yep, it seems that if you don't "sleep" time doesn't pass, and the game thinks you are still on the same Saturday as the previous week.
The implication of that question is that our little team of misfits will actually be able to change the world. Which... I didn't think this was that kind of game?
Dont' get me wrong, I don't disagree with pregnancy being end-game content, but that's because that's the logical end (you and your girls are reasonably dafe and stable, and it's time to think about a family - fin), rather than "we changed the world and now our children are safe".
Yes, I would totally have a child with Lin, right now, and entrust her (or him) to their half-brother or sister, for "safekeeping" once I'm gone. Along with Lin, really, since she is totally going to outlive the MC by several centuries.
No matter what, humans who are currently alive are not going to live more than a short century, so it's worth considering the very long term for our family, and that implies looking beyond the problems of the here and now.
28x13 = 364, add New Year's Day as an extra day, and New Summer's Day every 4 years, and we could have had a 28-day calendar all along, simply by agreeing to 13 months in a year (there *are* reasons not to, largely related to 13 being prime, but the weeks would still be 52, plus one day that is left out of any week, so seasons could simply be 3 months and one week each).
Dare to be rational, Runey!
I see three possible reasons for that:
1) Your game files are corrupted. It seems unlikely, since they are protected by the zip checksum, but try re-extracting the archive. This is the only reason I can see that may be fixable.
2) Your phone cannot handle the size of the game. This seems... Improbable, as the loading screen is not that big, memory-wise, but then again, it is kinda big screen-wise. Yes, it should resize automatically, but see below.
3) Your Android version is not entirely compatible with some of the features required to run the game (too old, too new, too many updates, not enough updates). There may be missing libraries, or libraries of the wrong version, or bugs, or bugfixes that introduced new bugs. For example, the game resizes a lot of stuff on the fly. This requires CPU or GPU power, and more importantly CPU or GPU calls, which may not be entirely cross-platform.
Or, something else entirely, but then I wouldn't know.
Just to clarify, when you say "deliveries"... What exactly are you talking about? Edit: Oooh, new feature. Me likes.
Also, is one supposed to sell one's girls' nudes to get money? As opposed to, you know, jealously hoard the nudes for one's own self? :P
But no, seriously, does the game assume a "sell pictures" income?
Edit: no, it does not. Because new feature. Me likes.
Hm. Interesting. I hate Nia. Well, no, not hate, just... Despise? Find utterly worthless?
Edit: Nah, too harsh. I just... Think she's an idiot.
More so because we later learn that she's actually very smart.
She came this || close to killing the person she *needed* to help her.
I mean, I *would* cut her some slack - except,
Edit: spoiler.
<spoiler>
again, she's a fucking genius who can drive, pilot, or sail anything with an engine, on top of being a fucking ninja *and*, apparently, the leader of an entire revolution.
And she almost killed the MC because she couldn't wait thirty fucking seconds for him to answer the door?
What is wrong with you, biche?!
If it were up to me, I would take everybody else and leave Nia at the elf relocation center, or whatever it's called.
Come back in a year or two, see if she managed to get her brain back into gear.
</spoiler>
Nope, but knowing the details of the crash may help.
I would suggest, assuming you still have the original zip file laying around, that you first revert to the old version, then check that it works, and then download the patch again and try installing that.
If you were using mods, you will need to wait for those to update.
If, and only if, you have a working version of Joiplay (previous versions used to work, current version does not), you can update by using the patch file, just like the PC players.
If you used to play with the APK... You have my sympathy. The current version of HH has too much content to fit in the APK limits. By, like, an order of magnitude. You can't fit an elephant into you cabin baggage. no matter how hard you squeeze it.
I mean, you have to be a time traveler (as the sex-off happens before those particular girls enter your harem), but. :P
On an entirely different note: is there a way to change Lin's scores for the sex-off, when reviewing it in the gallery? She counts as if she had a 0 in everything, which is... Not ideal.
Also, the MC is consistently called "Mr. Manager" throughout, when using the Gallery.
While that isn't a huge deal, it does mark the Gallery as "not the real deal" - so that, instead of remembering previous events, you are looking at some parallel reality.
HH isn't a 3d game, is a ren'py visual novel, creating using a 3d tool with an export to image (or video) function.
This means that, every time you see a girl in a different pose, that is an entirely different image or video (with a weight of several MB), instead of a different set of coordinates on an existing 3d model (with a weight of a few kB at the outside).
Now, if Runey could use the Illusion engine to make the entire game, it would be MUCH smaller.
Unfortunately, there are several problems with that idea.
First of all, Illusion does not, as far as I know, license out its engine and assets - and if they did, it would probably be outside of Runey's current development budget.
Also, Runey isn't (to my knowledge) a C+/-* programmer, so he would have to get an entirely new skillset, which is of course extremely time-consuming.
Also also, even if he were a C*+-/@?!# programmer already, he would still have to redevelop the game pretty much from scratch - or from a storyboard equivalent, at best.
Which of course would introduce a whole new host of bugs, and take a very, very long time... Just to get back to where we are right now.
Basically? We either deal with an ever-increasing archive size for photos and videos, or else give up on the game entirely.
I don't know if the current videos are H265, but even if they aren't, which would mean some savings would be possible recompressing the videos... New content is coming, so the size of the archive is going to increase.
In a sense, Runey isn't developing a game as much as writing and directing a movie, and movies take up a lot of space.
Not anymore, unfortunately. The game is too big for APK, and the engine doesn't really do "install and download" à la "The Sims Mobile".
There is a howto for Android users in the description (find in page -> 1. Download the PC version of the game.), but it's not guaranteed to work, because it relies on third-party software.
It's not really something Runey can fix, unless he starts making outrageous amounts of money, at which point he may or may not be able to talk the developers of Joiplay into making the "install, then download" option a thing.
(Just to be clear, I would not hold my breath.)
