Oh no! I didn't realize. According to this, XM8, X88000 and Quasi88 are compatible with Mac, but I'm not sure how that's tested. Do you mind downloading the Linux versions of them and try those?

I have a Mac, so I can try compiling one of the other emulators myself in a few days.

Sure I’ll check them out! Let me know if you do recompile them though 😀

Edit:

checked out Quasi88 but it looks like I’d have to compile it and I don’t know how

Couldn’t figure out how to get X88000 to work on Mac. I didn’t see the download

I tried xm8 but there didn’t seem to be a Mac download on their website

This one is only for Mac but it doesn’t work on recent operating systems PC88EM

It also really doesn’t help that I don’t read Japanese

Thanks for giving it a shot.

I will open up the MacBook and see what I can do tonight!

Good news, my friend, I managed to build QUASI88 and upload a MacOS 64-bit build. Let me know!

oh cool! Where can I download it?

edit: found your link!

I tried, but I couldn't get it to actually work. Let me know if you can figure it out :(

seat safety switch is maintaining this for now, I managed to get it to work after adding the PC-88 bios files to ~/quasi88/rom
