If I rest in my bed to get up at midnight the first night right after the zombie breakout, there is a bug where Rachel appears both sleeping in her bed and standing in front of it.
I think you forgot to remove the Rachel standing in front of her bed at night when you added the Rachel sleeping in her bed at midnight.
I'm encountering a serious bug in the botanical center where I just found Serena with Natasha accompanying me and Serena ran into the greenhouse.
For some reasons, I am unable to use my pistol nor my crossbow, they don't respond to my command, and now I am in the small cabin where a shelf has fallen behind us blocking the exit and I found a heavy club, the game tells me to equip it in the items menu, which I am trying to do but that doesn't work so I am stuck into this cabin because I am unable to use the item required and my weapons don't work either.
It seems that the botanical center is seriously bugged.
Hmm... At least now we know that the bug comes from the botanical center indeed, that will make it easier for the developer to fix it if he know where to look for. :-)
I don't remember having done anything else beside quitting the game and relaunch it... Ah! Yes, I did something. In order to check if the issue concerned only the botanical center, I tried to fire my weapons in each area on my way to the botanical center.
Maybe it is what solved my issue? Try it and let me know. ;-)
Aaaaaaw! That is a beginner player mistake, save often AND ALWAYS keep several saves in case you need to reload a previous save!
Now if you are stuck in the botanical center and you can't get out of it then you are screwed unless the developer takes on him to fix the issue quickly so you don't have to go back to the beginning of the game and repeat everything.
i think i found it. by the time i realized my gun wouldn't pew pew, i was out in the field. single save, and recent. i was just by Caroline's house near the gate south on my way to do a quest to the south.
out of desperation i guess? i went back home and when i talked to the barrels to enter they replied "Spend some time by exploring" instead of "go home?" so i clicked yes, and it teleported me outside... where i already was. guns fully functional now.
my guess is that something borked a script that allows you to fire your weapons while in the field, and having literally no experience with this kind of stuff unless vicarious experience watching skyrim and fallout modders make fancy mods counts.
i'd bet that there's some sort of hidden Buff or Status that's applied to us when we exit the safehouse and go to the Field but the quest where we shoot down the boss in Her place borks the game.
Hmm... I think you discovered an interesting clue about this bug. You said that you tried to go back home and when you interacted with the blockade, it reacted as if you were home and tried to go out. And when we are home, we cannot use weapons. So if the game thinks we are home then it disables or doesn't enable weapons. Then this bug might be that the game, for some reasons, thinks we are home when we are out. I think you discovered an interesting point to help the developer understand the issue and solve it, thank you. :-)
Also, this bug occurred to you elsewhere than at the botanical center so thanks to your report we now know that this bug doesn't occur only at this area.
I didn't encounter any issue with the boss fight in Caroline's house, it occurred only at the botanical center for me so it might not occur at the same location for everyone.
Well, I quitted and relaunched the game and there is no more issue with the weapons.
I'm not sure if it is the botanical center which caused the bug and rebooting the game fixed it or if it was a mere coincidence that it occurred at the moment I entered into this area and could have occurred anywhere else.
All I know is that a bug did occure in the game and made my weapons unusable.
I got most of these bugs found and fixed for the next build that will come out soon!
I also was reading your conversation about the glitched weapons.
A while ago, I found that one of the doors in the cabin that Natasha stays in can cause the issue of your weapons not working. Do you remember possibly going through there? If you know the EXACT moment where your guns stopped working that'll help me out a bunch but otherwise I will keep my eyes peeled for more reports of the issue. The door in Natasha's cabin is the only one I know of and it's been patched for the next build.
I will also work on a psuedo fix for all saves in case this issue ever occurs again to other players.

Yes, I indeed explored Natasha's cabin after getting her out of it. I can't tell if my weapons stopped working from this moment because I noticed this bug when I was in the botanical center as I didn't try to use my weapons before reaching this location.
Also, oh please, tell me that for the next build, you took care of fixing the ridiculous size of every woman breasts in all CG of this game so women in this game don't look ridiculous anymore, which is the biggest obstacle to my enjoyment of experiencing this game as I can't take any woman seriously with such ridiculous bodies, please, tell me you took care of fixing this characters grotesque design!

please help me out i saved at the finale boss fight with the 2 wolves and when I defeat the 2 on the first round i saved the game so if i die i can just reload back to the second round but the wolf is stuck in a corner at the too left and i cant die or attack him so i cant start over unless i wanna do the whole game again😥
