(unfortunately there is not really a debug option built in)
Did you tried the "remove all" option ?
Usually when clicked this works with all devices. (sometimes you need to press it twice unti lthe option is gone)

Mhnn, this sounds weird. Never had a problem with the device settings like this.
Problem is that i really do not want to dwelve too deep into the old code again since i am working on my new game currently.
What kind of device does not want to go away and on what platform you are playing ?
(because some things are OS related and i can not do much about these)
Don't worry about it too much. I have already ended that playthrough. It was on a windows PC. The devices were the chastity bra and the nipple vibrators. Each stuck on different characters. The ring gag was also stuck for a while, but were removed by the game when progressing. The others stayed even when the characters were forced to strip by the story.
The game was really fun and I am excited to start Milky Way soon.
