Visual Basic is based on BASIC, which is well... a basic programming language. Python is amazing also, if you want to feel like you know something important learn python. Python can do anything, just slow. That's where C++ comes in; it can do almost (almost)  everything python can but faster. And you responded to me at 12:00 XD.

Yea, I'm from Europe it was soometime in the day for me. But thanks for the tips! I might have a look at C++ then.

NO!!! Do not learn C++ as your first (or second) language. Wait until you have either completely learned C# or master something like JavaScript. I made the mistake of trying to learn C++ after I learned HTML. :(

Join the Paint Jam a month from now. In my first jam (only a month ago, Fail to Win), I worked with unity for only 3 days and I learned everything while I did the jam.  Besides only using MS Paint will be a challange. It'll be fun.

Might do that, although me and my friend want to do a two player game in a few days so i'll see how that'll fit into my schedule.

That's a good idea. Making games is the best way to learn (I should take a word of my own advice).
