Started coding 33 years ago on the Atari ST, truely oldschool. In favor of Assembler and BASIC I had an aversion against C++, but ultimately and in the dawn of WebGL joined the JS band wagon. Actually I am first and foremost an artist in music, gfx and filmmaking. Code is just a tool. Besides the 8 MHz Atari CPU with 1 MB Ram, I started with QBasic on PC DOS, writing 2.5D racasters and Voxel games. Then my Direct3D encounter with Darkbasic 1, upgraded quickly to Blitz3D, which was very powerful at the time. Pity it kept using DirectX7, so it became kind of inferior in terms of new features. However, it's still very powerful and now open source, and also freely downloadable. Recently I tried _many_ WebGL frameworks. I did not choose Unity or Unreal by now due to their colossality, and also to support non-monopolism a bit, so I found Coppercube, which may have flaws but is also very powerful in terms of 3D games in the Browser, which is what I am interested in mostly today.
