Very fun game! I loved the dialogue but also THANK YOU for providing a skip/next button for semi-fast readers. I personally think the controls were great. And your minimalistic design was perfect for the jam's theme. I'm a big fan of collecting stuff, even if it's just ammo. The small reward of 1 cannon ball when killing an enemy provided fun gameplay and fit the theme very well. Also like how death isn't really a huge penalty. Overall, really good submission!
