First of all, great camera work. I never felt like the camera was in the way or obscured anything important, which is the case with many commercial games and I feel you deserve all the credit for this. As for the theme, I don't really get how it applies to the game. Controls were intuitive, but I would have liked to be able to hold E instead of having to wait for the prompt. That breaks up the flow IMO and makes you pay attention to something you shouldn't have to in the first place.

As others have mentioned, I have no idea how to start crafting. I gathered materials, but I couldn't interact with any machines? I'm confused on this.

All in all a fun game which has a lot of potential, but for the moment it is a bit raw. I would have liked to see the mechanics polished up more than the art. That said, while I may not be a huge fan of the terrain textures, it is a very pretty and polished game and I feel you can go far with this idea. It just needs more "game" in it.

Despite the shortcomings, you did a great job in polishing the game this much in a week!

Thanks so much for the response, I agree with your suggestions. As for the theme, the general idea I had was this one resource that would create more resources, but I can also see other ways to interpret the theme in this game, like how one pug creates a lot of things, etc...
But I do see that it feels like its theme is more is more. 😂

The game is very unfinished indeed, as I spent too much time on the art and also fixing small issues, making sure that expanding the game will be an easier task. That said, crafting didn't make it to the cut. Though, I wanted the players to have a sneak-peak with the machines, that's why I put them there.

Also, as I realized I was spending too much time on the environment, I decided to use unofficial terrain textures.
Like the sand is for the coconut meat, the mountain was for the roofing, and the grass was for items with leaf weaves. 😆

Again, thank you for your helpful feedback, I will also check out your game and share my genuine thoughts! 😊
