I dont doubt that you are, and I'll be fair and say the game has potential but the janky screen change and unfriendly UI is a letdown. No animation and serious grindings are also meh but for almost 600mb and a $19.99 tag you really dont seem to get a whole lot.
You get more than 5 times the content most fully priced VN have so I would say you get more than a whole lot. I do agree on the lag problem, we are looking to solve that but unfortunately no one on the dev team is experiencing it which is a bit problematic to find the cause.
