With the standalone version, once I select a track this happens (the two halves of the logo scroll up/down the screen leaving a trail behind, then the game freezes).

With the Raspi version, when I load the PNG I get this message.

vracing_10.png in the raspi zip is the program icon. The application is 'vracing_10'.
Ah, I can't run anything that doesn't have a filetype, the Pi recognises things by their suffix.
this is a Unix system - open a command prompt, navigate to the folder and then type:
./vracing_10
I see - I don't have a Raspberry so difficult to troubleshoot :/
