Pretty neat mechanic that I'd like to see more of, though I agree it would be nice to have checkpoints from time to time due to its difficulty. I also like the frenzied christmas music. As a tip maybe try out some premade palettes online to get a feel for what colours to pick for your artwork as the brightness is a little hard on the eyes sometimes. Good job !!
