That sucks, but think of it as a reason to reexperience the early game stuff again! And maybe make some slightly different choices!
Yeah especially since hyao does bug fixes and additions to make early game fun too, making it a slightly new experience!
Not the best way to play the game but you can always make a new save and use saveeditonline.com to edit a save file to have lots of money and levels among other things
