A simple idle game, i didn't mind it but for what i read text was well written.
The encounters where funny but kinda random to click on the bottom of the sign, anyway the dragon could not kill me so I've finished the game even without the statistics. Also after noticing the slow counter I've decided to use speed hack on Cheat engine, after that the game was much more barable to play.

The health count down animation is too slow, 95% of my time was spent waiting for it.

The dragon design and art is really good. I finished the game but I think it was thanks to a bug making me immortal against the dragon.

Overall nice ideas and game loop but I felt like I was playing a clicker game after getting the legendary sword.

Bugs

  • The stat chosen when you enter the village aren't reflected in your stats menu.
  • If you click the rock in front of the dragon and quickly go back to town the rock will be stuck when going back to the dragon.
  • Roulette and Distract don't work ?
  • I can't die during the dragon fight ? my health resets to 21 every time I "die"

Damn I'm a fucking moron lol I try to fix one thing and make ten new things to fix. I know exactly what is causing you not to die against hte dragon. I'll get to fixing it, thanks for the feedback bro. Roullete and distract don't work at all or against the dragon?

I tried to use distract before but it never did anything. Roulette I only tried against the boss, it printed the text saying my next attack is only 1 but I did 100 anyway.

Huh, I think the fight against the dragon glitched out for me, I can't damage him at all, and every hit of his does 1HP damage to me. Roulette and distract didn't work either. A shame, I leveled up so much, I really felt I had a fighting chance this time (it was still 250HP vs 1000HP but still!)

I liked the leveling aspect of it a lot, it does become easier once you have the thunder sword, after that the enemies get cut into butter (except big Greg, still have a lot of respect for that top dog). And now that I think about it, it's true that the second time around felt a lot easier compared to the first one, I didn't even make the connection, just thought I knew more about how the game works.

Now that I think about it, overall what it reminded me a lot of are those old RPG browser games, where you hit enemies and make those numbers go up, these types of games are always fun. I mentioned it before but I especially want to praise the enemy variety here, they were all very fun with their flavor text and sounds. So yeah, all in all good game, just that one bug that prevented Alcaria from getting saved.

Glad you enjoyed it! I will get to fixing it right now.

I believe I fixed all the problems you mentioned. The replay button is an oversight by me, I spaghettied the code with inconsistent static uses and it will be very hard to reset everything so I removed it. Restart the application to restart the game. Thansk for the feedback.

I grinded enemies for a long time and died to the dragon. I think the game decided to turn on mouthbreather-mode after that, b/c I think things were easier the next time around, allowing me to grind for an even longer time before dying to the dragon.

  • Hp ticking down slowly made the game take a really long time to play. After some time (around level 10?) the speed seemed to increase, but I think it could have been at that speed the whole time.
  • For point and click games, its nice to have something that draws attention to interactable elements.
  • The text for the "distract" option is too long and stretches off screen.

I like the enemy designs and battle text, particularly for several of the late-game enemies.
