Nice atmosphere, except I didn't like the loudness of the jumpscare.
I think I beat the game in a way not intended:
1) I inspected places, found a ladder, took it;
2) then I found no way to use the ladder, so I decided to think about the code;
3) I noticed that one surname is related to Halloween, so I entered the name as code, but couldn't get the key, for my hands were holding the ladder;
4) I restarted the game, reentered the code, took the key and won :D
