For your first game, it wasn't all that bad to be honest. I love the custom art and the catch soundtrack you made for the game, but the gameplay, in my opinion needed a lot of work. Here are the problems I found:

  • The movement of the character seemed inaccurate and slippery. The player gets a slight push as I let go of the certain key, which almost always caused me to die sadly.
  • Seeing as you made this game a browser platform, which I thank you for that, I would suggest making the W key or anything else other than the up arrow key the jump button because everytime I jumped, my scrollbar reacted to it and kept moving the screen up which I felt kind of disturbing.
  • For the pumpkins that keep spawning and rolling, I would of suggested making it disappear within a few seconds because everytime there was a large amount of pumpkins in the area, I would have to end up starting all over, which is something I didn't want to have to do
  • The level difficulty: Don't get me wrong, I love a good challenge when it comes to games, but I think you might of made it nearly impossible to get past the ghosts sometimes and, luckily, I found a maneuver towards getting through them and passing by the levels.

Sorry if it seems like I'm judging the game. I just want to give my feedback and opinion of how I feel the game could be improved because I enjoyed the first portion of it, but after a few levels, it started getting extremely difficult. The idea was nice though!
