Awesome! Most of the changes I made were to allow for easy integration with Godot Open Dialogue, so I'll include it with the version of G.O.D. that I'm working on when I post it here. And I'll make sure to link back to this page and encourage anyone using it to throw you some bucks for coming up with it. I can email you the .gd file if you wanna give me your email!
