Thanks for playing it on stream! Just watched you play it on the VOD, sorry that I couldn’t be there live! I rather agree with all the points you made. The first encounter is definitely a bit too hard for 1 player for your first time playing. Further, we definitely wanted to make the combat have more feedback, but we ran out of time with the deadline. Same goes with sounds, ui, etc. We may also revise the keyboard controls, as you seemed to not like the layout. We plan on updating this game post-jam and addressing all of those concerns.
