i would need to agree the tags needs work and I dont want to "abuse" itch. The only thing I currently am baffled about is how shockingly little organic traffic there is. If I look at the analytics out of 23 views that my project just had, 17 is traffic from this post. Now, in the past I had uploaded a different game, that was 3-4 years ago, before indexing issues were widespread and I had way more organic traffic and people actually playing my game. Something changed, I realise the volume of games has increased but we would also evaluate the volume of games that are just "fodder".  I would really LIKE to support itch as a platform as a developer but when the upload limit is 1k (which is almost nothing for modern games which are texture heavy) and itch does very little to promote games that are not horror streamer bait, its hard to commit to it. Maybe its the genre, very likely but subjectively I feel itch has very bad organic visibilty compared to back then. For instance an important real estate on itch is the "fresh games" section. It seems while your game may get indexed, its very unlikely to appear on that. I suppose thats where alot of eyes are too.

If you use butler, your upload limit is increased.

As for organic views, it is the middle of the week, your tags are bland and as you have noticed, your cover image looks out of place. On Itch people will currently rather suspect AI than a commissioned piece with that kind of style.

Oh, and you have "demo" in the title. Why waste time visiting a demo page of an unknown game, when there is actual games to visit.
