I'm with the Batonic team and tried the browser beta in Chrome on Windows. City Bounce was an easy starting point, and after Play the transport counter and output meter advanced.

I hesitated at editing the drum pattern. I stopped playback, opened Patterns and clicked "Open City Drums in Channel Rack", but I still saw the arrangement with Drum and Piano tracks rather than a Channel Rack. Is there another step to reveal that panel? An "Edit pattern" label or a short hint beside the starter could make this transition easier.

This is a limited first-session observation. I haven't checked recording, MIDI, export or audio quality.

Thanks for trying it and for the clear step-by-step feedback! No extra step should be needed: the Channel Rack opens below the arrangement, so the Drum and Piano tracks remain visible above it.

I checked the City Bounce flow and found the edit action was hidden until hover, with the controls shifting as they appeared. I have updated the browser beta with an always-visible Edit button beside each pattern. Open Patterns, then click Edit beside City Drums to reach its steps. I have verified that route on the live itch build.

Please try again after reloading the page and let me know whether the rack appears. If it still does not, a screenshot and your window size would help me investigate. This kind of first-session feedback is exactly what I need. Thank you!

Thanks, I reopened the updated itch.io build in Chrome on Windows. The Edit button beside City Drums is now visible in Patterns, and clicking it opened the Channel Rack below the arrangement with the Kick and Snare rows in view. That makes the transition easier to find.

This confirms the navigation step in this session. I stopped before changing any steps or testing recording, MIDI, export or audio quality.
