Funny there is two games in the gamejam doing a similar kind of "face up" puzzle :) I liked this, but I think the 2D aspect, even though you can see how the different faces of the dice are placed on the side, make it quite hard to understand how to solve it, a bit too frustrating to keep the player going. I feel like 3D is more fitting. Great implementation though, i really like the design and art style

Thanks a lot for the feedback! We actually considered making the game in 3D at first, and we agree that it could make the dice mechanics easier to understand visually.

That said, this is our very first game. We had some basic Python knowledge, but neither of us had ever made a game before or used Godot. 3D felt a bit too ambitious for a first project, so we decided to stick to 2D and use the jam as an opportunity to learn Godot and GDScript without adding too much complexity.
