SD Gamejam 2026 is the very first edition of the Slice & Dice Gamejam, which will take place in October 2026.
The goal is to create a video game within a limited amount of time, while learning new skills and taking on new challenges with your team.
A theme will be announced on the first day of the Game Jam. All games must follow this theme in order to be eligible for the final ranking.
At the end of the Game Jam, the games will be rated by the other participants, and you will also be able to rate the games from other teams. The final ranking will determine the winner.
No minimum skill level is required, whether in programming, game design, art, etc. You will learn as you go alongside your teammates! If you want to give it a try, don't hesitate.
Don't have a team ? Visit the #find-a-team channel in our Discord !
For our first Game Jam, we’ve chosen a theme that we think will be accessible to every skill level.
And the theme is.....
haha because we’re Slice and Dice....... get it?.....
Please interpret this however you like. From a simple roll of the dice to a weapon that throws dice at all sorts of things I can barely imagine!
Games will be rated in 5 categories:
Only participants who submitted a game to the jam will be able to vote on other entries. This includes both submitters and contributors listed on a submission. if you're credited as a contributor to a team's game, you'll also be able to vote. If you didn't submit anything, you won't have access to voting on itch.io.
Anything you create during the SD Gamejam 2026 remains your property.
