Thanks for providing a native Linux build right out of the gate! It's always fantastic to see games built with Godot. Huge props for supporting FOSS engines!

Overall, I had a really nice time with the game, though a couple of mechanics stood out during my playthrough:

  • Movement: The double jump mechanic feels a bit odd at first. The second jump barely gives you any additional height, but I did find it quite useful for extending jump distance slightly to clear gaps.
  • The Tracker: Having the tracker is a great idea! That said, I completely missed its existence on my first playthrough, which led to me manually checking every single building in search of Lemurs! (Haha.)

Quick question: Is this game by any chance inspired by Ape Escape?

Best of luck with the project!

Thanks for playing and the feedback! I run linux on both my machines so it was important to support it right from the get go.

Regarding the mechanics, a proper double jump is first on the list of things to do, especially since it will help a lot with the boss fight. RE the tracker, I'll look into putting optional tutorials for the gadgets spread out throughout the level. It is inspired by Ape Escape!

Thanks again.
