Honestly I know its only been 2 weeks but I keep coming back hoping that the next update somehow gets shadow dropped. I legitimately have been very excited and think back to this VN every few days!!! I am sad to hear that the next update will take 8 months to come out, considering how torturous just these 2 weeks have been, but for the amount of enjoyment I got from reading this VN so far, I'm willing to wait! Congrats to the team on everything!! Its very well deserved!! The story y'all have created and are telling is filling a gap that VNs have been missing for YEARS, and the VNs that came before to try and fill this gap have completely been abandoned. I wish nothing but the best for this team and hope we get to read so SO much more of this story and universe!!

P.S I am definitely part of the Alister army! His mannerisms, character design, and  interests are all resonating with me so much!! That's not to say I don't love the other characters as well. Every character is well written and adds so much to the story in their own right!! I don't think there are any weak characters!

I really do sincerely wish we could push out updates lightning fast! Alas, there's a lot of moving parts going on here, and in order to ensure we don't burn ourselves out, it's better to pace ourselves. I know it must suck to know updates will be that infrequent, but it's the healthiest option for multiple different reasons. I do appreciate your patience though, and we plan to make sure the wait is always worth it! <3

8 months does seem a bit too long.. not because i'm being greedy but because I typically lose interest or forget most of the plot by then. The rare few VNs i still follow with such long update timelines are lust shards and fatal force because they're very memorable and the updates come with lots of content

Maybe you could ask some other devs for help. It's very possible some things can be sped up if you know a trick or two. Off the top of my head, EA author does consistent monthly updates but later polishes the older updates when he has time. (adding missing CGs, fixing bugs/typos etc)

If still impossible, i'd at least suggest doing a devlog in between updates. It's nice to know a vn isn't on hiatus
Good luck!
