Please, please, please fix the Hadoken inputs!

Also, is there a way to get it without having to die multiple times in the pit under the platform? That nukes *ANY* possibility of getting an S rank on the stage -- but it's almost not worth it 'cause I can almost NEVER pull it off anyways! XD

You actually don't have to die in the pit. Once you get to the platform, exit the stage, then re-enter. Then do it three more times. It is like the requirement in original MMX in Armadillo stage; the requirement is have 100% and have that location come into frame multiple times but on separate visits. In the case of this game, three times and then it'll appear on the 4th time. No need to die for this. Also, if you get through all of the game up to here without dying then it'll show up on the first time.

For the input, I've not been having too much issue, but I guess it depends on the controller you're using. Down+Right/Left+shoot, doing it in a quick fluid motion. Takes practice. But also, if it's unclear to everyone, you have to be at full health to use Hadouken, just like the original. The example Hadouken that fires after stepping out of the capsule fires off regardless, but you have to be full health to use it.

...oh, duh, escape! XD Thank you.

And yeah, I know the motion, it's just NOT working with any type of consistency. In X1, it was always easy to fire it off! ....might as well try a PS5 controller or something. :-D

Yup! That took awhile to figure out for me.

A decent controller is key. I've got a Logitech F310. Works pretty well as an all-around for PC. XBox layout though. Funny thing too is when I go back to X1 and X2 the special moves are even easier to pull off, so this game is making me better, I guess, lol.

I use an Xbox One controller with the circular D-pad. Maybe it doesn't do diagonals right? Could be. It's the motion, let off for half a second, then press fire. Sometimes. I'll try a SNES-to-USB this weekend. We'll see.

Honestly I struggle with inputting the hadouken in this game more than I typically do in X1 as well so I can say it's not just you. I can get it to work most of the time but it is pickier to be sure.
