I listened to all of this. Really nice songs, with much feeling! The instrumentals are often beautiful. The singing is pleasant with the consistent rhymes in the lyrics. I appreciate the clarity in the words, it has a smooth flow. So cool that the first song started in the 2000s and you as a 'musician', this being decades in the making.
Lovely how this is supposed to represent your experience and struggles. This kind of music needs honesty, despite being semi-fictional, and is meaningful in the intentionality. Feelings of yearning, being lost, that frustration in this kind of relationship. This must've been difficult for your passions and time. "Highway of dreams" and looking back on that life is bittersweet.
I really like albums about a whole emotional journey, of evolving feelings and sounds. This reminds me a bit of the storytelling in Pet Sounds, caught the Norwegian Wood reference, not that I know many albums lol. This works well as set of tracks. Another album I like is Gotye - Making Mirrors.
It was cool to click on the info and read the notes and paragraphs about each track. Interesting, and even painful background, varied past inspirations. To be honest I didn't know about this feature, I just tapped that button by accident afterwards. Knowing I could've missed this is disheartening. Never seen Song Fight before, seeing the votes is neat, and the old original song versions. Golfpunk is funny. Also glad to see trans expression.
After listening multiple times, my personal favourite individual tracks are Birds of Our Own, Repair My Heart, and Shipwreck. I was kinda annoyed that the timings of the instruments seemed a bit off in these tracks lol

I hadn’t considered that the “info” reveal on the player might not be super obvious. Do you have any suggestions about how to make it better? itch’s frame-based embed doesn’t give a lot of flexibility with that, although if you buy the album you get access to the liner notes as a PDF which also has a bit of stuff that isn’t in the preview player.

I was trying to balance the feeling of being a live-sounding organic performance with precision. I reject the need for modern music to be overly quantized and precise. I know that won’t be to everyone’s taste, though.

About the info, I guess some notes in the description would be plenty. About info containing the background history, or mentioning the PDF. This is my first time encountering this plugin is all.
That's alright, it's authentic. I'm just glad to find out about this stuff that touches my heart, if I knew about Itch and indie stuff a lot earlier, I would've been content. Very repressed in life and environment, much suffering and emotional abuse.
I know some piano, the instruments being a bit off bothers me, but can respect that of the music.
