Really fun game jam game. It fits GB really well and of course fits "Old Gold", but it was pretty fun to play. I would describe it as easy to learn hard to master. The advanced lockpicks is easy in concept, but requires learning the various shapes for things like with the setup that with basics takes 2 double prongs if that makes sense.

I think the only things I can nitpick on are
1. The way the game launches in Itch.io I don't think I can go back to the page, so I had to back out to comment.

2. I THINK I beat the game. (I stole 1m dollars), but the game just kind of ends abruptly. You get back from the heist to nothing and no sort of end if that makes sense.

Since it is a Game Jam Game the no ending isn't a big deal and I would still put this as one of the best GBJam 14 games I have played.

Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed!

For the way it launches, that's a workaround for Itch's setup that otherwise blocks saving games to local storage in some browsers (Safari, especially).  It does open in a new tab though by default, so you should be able to get back to the game page tab easily.  Details here if you're curious about the technical reasons and alternatives :).

There is an end of game scene - after you do the final heist, and optionally say goodbye to your reticent friend, just walk out the south exit of town.  It's just a single dialog of text though and a "congrats, you win".  Since the game saves your progress (in all browsers ;), you can go back and see that if you missed it.  It's definitely a little easy to miss though, I think, making that more clear would be a good thing to change.

I saw the ending scene now. Yeah some way to make it a little more obvious would probably be better. As for the Itch.io issues I think my browser was causing it because in Zen it blocks redirects, so I had to hit allow to let it open a new tab, so that may be what was causing that issue for me.
