How do I get past the boxes at the start of level 2? I’m pressing A (z on keyboard) but I don’t seem to have the pendant.

I am trying to push and pull them like the boxes in the previous level but I can’t move them. Here is where I reached in case it’s not clear.

You select the abilities with the backspace key, that's the "SELECT" button for this game
