Stone and Wood – An Adventure in a Magical World
Today’s pixel art is inspired by the video game *Might and Magic III* for MS-DOS. An adventure in a magical world. Beneath the stars. Under the open sky. In dungeons and cities. There is something interesting everywhere.
And here is my drawing inspired by *Might and Magic III* (MS-DOS). You begin your journey alone. In this forest. A beautiful sky—clear, with clouds. Truly magical. Filled with stars that lie so far away.
Ahead lies a stone path. There are many trees—massive trees that clearly have been growing here for a very long time. It’s a fine forest, full of great trees. There is stone here, too—paths made of it. That means a city must be nearby. A city of stone. Cities often use stone for construction, whereas villages prefer wood.
The adventure is just beginning. You set out right after the cool morning rain ended. You know you will find other party members along the way—each with their own story to tell.
But for now, you must make your way through the forest. You’ll likely need to help the locals deal with rats... and flies. Then, you’ll venture out beyond the city limits to search for useful items in a nearby dungeon.
