I love cozy games and puzzles - but the lighting in the room makes the puzzles too difficult to see. I’ve turned the brightness all the way up, and I didn’t see a way to turn on a light over the puzzle to make it easier to see what I’m doing (like I do irl).
Playing on a Mac, so the browser version is the easiest option.
Thank you so much for reaching out and give us some feedback. We will for sure work on the light while solving the puzzles. As on IOS port, we will try to find ways to make the game available for it but no promises. At this stage as we are trying to gather feedback to understand how is the experience and what are the bugs we need to solve to create a complete game.

I only included my system info for feedback purposes :) iirc some Unity games are shipped without shaders(?) that are compatible with Mac Metal. I’ve been told that it happens if a checkbox is left unchecked when exporting the game. We get lighting that’s blinding, too dark, random black squares popping up, and white, black, or hot pink “placeholder” textures.
I haven’t experienced this in a browser-based game, so I don’t think that’s the issue here :)
I didn’t get a chance to play the game yet due to the lighting. I figured I’d come back and try again some other time!
That was crucial info for us, as we aim to reach the people who would like to experience our game. That said, this is a Great timing!
We just pushed 0.2.6 and the lighting was the main thing we fixed. Turns out the house had no lights turned on, so the rooms were way too dark.

The browser version has the update, so it should work fine on your Mac. And thanks for the Metal shader note, that is good to know for a native Mac build later.
