That was crucial info for us, as we aim to reach the people who would like to experience our game. That said, this is a Great timing!

We just pushed 0.2.6 and the lighting was the main thing we fixed. Turns out the house had no lights turned on, so the rooms were way too dark.

There is a proper key light now, brighter rooms, Before/after shots are in the devlog: https://anglesofdice.itch.io/jigsaw-home/devlog/1669530/026-demo-bind-anything-b...

The browser version has the update, so it should work fine on your Mac. And thanks for the Metal shader note, that is good to know for a native Mac build later.

If you get a chance to try again, we would love to hear if the puzzles are readable now and how was your experience overall :)

Thank you so much for reaching out and give us some feedback. We will for sure work on the light while solving the puzzles. As on IOS port, we will try to find ways to make the game available for it but no promises. At this stage as we are trying to gather feedback to understand how is the experience and what are the bugs we need to solve to create a complete game.

Once again thank you for taking the time to play the demo and give us feedback. Aside from the light issue, did you enjoy the experience?

Hi all, first post here from us. We are a tiny team and Jigsaw Home is our first game. The demo is finally up.

The idea is simple. You sit down with a jigsaw in a cozy little 3D room. Real pieces, you can rotate them, sort out the edges, and there is that small click when one fits. When the puzzle is done you frame it and hang it on the wall. Solving earns points, points buy furniture, plants, rugs and lamps, and some puzzles unlock new rooms. No timer, no score. Just you, a puzzle and a house that slowly fills up with the stuff you like.

The photos in the puzzles are our own, from walks around where we live or during the travel to other countries.

Play the demo here, in the browser or as a Windows download: https://anglesofdice.itch.io/jigsaw-home

Mid-puzzle. Edges first, then the sky pieces that all look the same.

Closing in on the last pieces.

My House: the rooms you have and what to do with them.

Decorating. Drag things in, rotate, move them around.

The Puzzle Point shop.

If you try it, tell us what felt good and what was confusing in the first few minutes. There is a feedback button in the main menu, or just write here. Thanks for reading!
