It's nice to see updates here! I have not gone back to replay the game with the new update, but since you are playing around with platforming still, I have a few notes on my gameplay experience if they're helpful. So if you've updated these also just ignore me here. At very least, since you're planning a series, I thought it might good to post these. Anyway feel free to ignore because I am a random internet stranger, but if this is useful:

- Apparently I am a moron because for like fifteen minutes I did not realize the arrow keys worked. I went straight to using only WASD and couldn't see anything because I thought the camera was locked and only realized it could move when I looked up a youtube playthrough. Maybe they were mentioned at some point and I missed it. I think though it might be worth doing something like flashing images of what keys work in the game on the screen at some point so the player sees "oh yeah, I can click that button. what does it do?" Also, I initially skipped the tutorial mansion, because once again, I am a moron, but also, I know there are other morons out there who might do similarly.

- You probably know this now, but here was one point where I got stuck in danger and intrigue.

- Some of the maps felt a bit easy to get lost on. The room where Kissy wonders about what Tortureball is thinking about her extends much further back than the playable area and so I ran over there thinking there was something. I should have realized "hey, go up to where the text is" but my logic was "hey, there's more room back there, go that way!" The exploded room I also found easy to get lost in (I mean, it is exploded, so danger and intrigue, though, so maybe that's what you're going for). Anyway, I eventually stopped checking for extra content in the nooks and crannies when there might have been some just because I didn't want to get lost. I might just be bad at navigation though.
- For text boxes, would it be possible to make them double sided? Sometimes I approached them from the back and the text is backwards and then I had to go around. Might just be a good QoL improvement to have the text show the proper way on either side.

Blah blah blah, that's notes on my experience. The humor and wit here are fantastic as always. I wasn't sure about the art portraits for when the characters spoke at first but those frames at the end with Tortureball surrounded by beautiful women and the boss with the plant were phenomenal build ups. Overall, looking forward to more of the series!

Thank you for the notes! It sounds dismissive but I actually always like the parts of videogames where you're trying to figure out what the buttons do and feel like the games tend to be significantly worse once you figure that out. I still have very strong memories of renting Super Putty for SNES and not being able to get past the lowest levels of the starting area bc the manual wasn't in the box - because of this I have stronger memories of that game than of many others, and of some family members.
