It took me a bit longer than I would have liked to figure out I wasn't actually controlling the character. I suppose I should have read the description a little more carefully. I think it could do with a bit more input from the player, maybe a shop after each battle where you can heal your guy a little bit, or make him stronger in some way. It doesn't seem like he changes his attacks much between fights. I also would like to have the main character stand out a little bit more, in the first fight I wasn't sure who my guy was since they were both gray and swinging a sword around. Finally the second theme of expression was only really present in the title, it felt like each different type of enemy mostly just spun around and wacked you in similar ways. I don't think I could tell apart the different ways they expressed themselves in combat.

Sorry for the wall of feedback! I think with some more user interaction you have a pretty fun idea going on here, and the art is pretty engaging!

I really need to make the main character more unique. The game definitely lacks user interaction; I spend most of the time working on the combat system. Thank you for playing the game and even giving such detailed feedback!
