It's not that I want to spawn spoils earlier, it's that I didn't need to spawn them at all. Just the naturally spawned ones were more than I could clear. Maybe I was doing something wrong (but I did manage to get all relics), however I feel like they take too long to finish.
Something I forgot to mention, it took me a little bit to notice the clickable resources. Maybe I missed a quest or something, but if you needed to use them to get your starting resources you'd ensure players use them. They also become clutter late game when you are making far more than they give you, although I'm not really sure if this is an issue.
