Apex Relics are just rare random drops (with a mercy mechanic). If you get lucky, you can get more than one in a single incarnation by switching wilderness.
Do you know if there's any sort of minimum wilderness fighting you have to do to get the mercy boost, or is it just entering the wilderness area that does it? Is that actually a potential benefit to visiting multiple wilderness areas in a single life?
