Hey nice game Lucas! It did remind me a bit of FTL. It was slightly confusing at the beginning but only took a few seconds to actually figure out. I guess one thing though is I wasn't sure what everything did. Like I knew the middle was Life Support, and the corners were thrusters to slowdown the ship somehow. Not sure what the middle left and middle right were, but I repaired them anyway because I figured they were important! I'm guessing one is related to the hull which I didn't seem to have a problem with. Anyway very well done! I enjoyed it quite a bit even if I kept losing!
