Cute and fun enough game that I have a couple of gripes about. The fact that you MUST steal or pay rather than just walk away is annoying when you don't know what will pop up the first time you enter a hex. It also feels like the "correct" way to play, especially if the game was expanded upon and made longer, would be to just hop around your gardens for a while and collect money. I also don't really understand the point of the police. They are way cheaper to bribe after stealing than just buying the thing you stole. Which is funny commentary, but not a great game mechanic IMO.

Thanks for your feedback! Just to clarify a few things so you don’t get confused, my friend:

When you steal something and the police catch you, you can also bribe the police. That’s one of the possible ways to play the game. The police won’t always catch you — there’s an 80% chance they will. And if your city is bigger, meaning you’ve unlocked more hexes, the chance becomes lower because the city is larger.

The reason you don’t know what’s inside each house and have to take the risk is also part of the game’s design. It’s meant to remind you that you can’t trust anyone. Everyone wants money, and if you refuse to pay them, your trust level with those people goes down, so the next option becomes more expensive.

I just wanted to explain this so you wouldn’t get confused. I’m really glad you played the game!😊👍
