The Coveted Finish
Today's pixel art is based on the F1-Race video game for the NES console. One of the first racing games, often found on cartridges. A relatively simple game. Graphics-wise, and design-wise. But you still won't be able to complete all the laps at once. You'll have to practice.
And this is my drawing based on F1-Race (NES). The grueling race is drawing to a close. It's already evening. Such a dark evening. Almost night. And a cool breeze blows. Even despite the heat from the tires. None of the drivers changed tires for the last laps. Everyone is racing with what they have left.
There, beyond the horizon, is the coveted finish. For many, they simply need to cross the finish line. That's it. They just need to get there. And navigate all the turns. Only for the race leaders. Now is a very important and competitive moment.
