It was such an enjoyment reading the Zine. I love the name of the zine. It's such a smart way to title a zine that's about TTRPG. The layout is crisp and clear (and it supports to humour cause the monster appreciator part makes me LOLed), the cover art has such great colours. The font for each articles fit so well with the theme and voice of the writer. And of course, all the articles are really insightful to read.

Creatures of Malaysian Folklore is going to be very helpful for when we play Monster of the Week or when I make skins for Monsterhearts2. I think there's a distinct lack of Asian culture in the English gaming space. I could find so many European or American folklore monsters or creatures. But I can hardly find any with any Asian inspired creatures except for maybe like nine tailed fox

My friend is doing Start Playing as well so that's very insightful to read about other paid professional GMs.

To think that the zine also packed in two game as well??!! It's such a delight to read the rules! Also a comic? It captures what I like about TTRPG so well.

And of course, shoutout to Mayamin Taufik! I remember reading the playthrough and omg I think I finished it in one sitting cause it was so funny and the story was very interesting to read. I'm so glad my game brought you back to writing cause you're a good writer!!! Casper my fav love interest (it's not just the ponytail alright???) even though he'd call me a WEEB  It's a delight to see Maria back!! I love her so much and I was rooting for her to survive. Mayamin captured what makes me love solo TTRPG. I think there's always a pressure to "put out good work", be it fanfiction, fiction, play by post. There's always the fear of "is the writing good enough", "is the story making sense", "is the prose too plain". And my crime of "is the protagonist too much of a Mary Sue". Playing solo means I only need to please myself. At first, I was still stuck playing it like writing a novel, carefully planning the game and writing sweet prose because that's writing, right??? It's only when I let go of the pressure, and like Mayamin said, surrendered myself to write according to the prompts that I actually had the most fun. It's such a delight to read the article and I love the little art so much. They're so adorable.

The zine is extremely well made. Everyone did such a perfect job!!! Sending love!!!
