Left me in a pensive mood, thinking of my own online friends that I treasure but who I know could disappear at any moment. I'm still learning to accept how beautiful yet vulnerable virtual bonds can be.
It amuses me sometimes that the people you feel who understand you the most are those whose names and faces and professions you don't even know, living thousands of miles away. That there's no way to guarantee the friendship lasts because of distance and mismatched time differences and lifestyles is a bittersweet feeling, but c'est la vie I guess.
