If I can make a suggestion, the lifeguards in the chairs don’t seem to have a detection cone (free version, not gone above 2 stars) and I feel this is a missed opportunity as being stationary there is no difficulty to snapping the regular girls, especially if you have practice in the base game.

true, but they are not focusing on the beach they can potentially still catch you, perhaps have a mechanic which makes the picture harder for an increased rarity chance?
if you want, you can also use the mechanic where a character who has been snapped looses their view cone.
The view cone could also be quite narrow with a slow pan.
