I really love this idea. I am not a very good blind mouse, unfortunately. The problem, if it can be called a problem, is that the maze-like levels mean that you can *hear* the cheese, but to *get to* the cheese, you often have to move away from it. I've no idea how one would "solve" this, aside from, I don't know, somehow attenuating the sound based not on basic proximity but path-based distance? So the cheese gets louder as you actually make progress toward it, not as you're getting closer to it but are still on the other side of a wall?

The cat, however, I could avoid with ease. No way was I going anywhere near that rumblin' purr. My mouse might've starved, but it didn't get eaten!

This is actually a good idea! I also wanted to add some kind of “muted” effect to the sound when hearing it through the wall, but I sadly ran out of time…
