Yeah, that was one of the strangest games I played in a while. You know I've been dreaming of making a game with quantum mechanic for 10 years now, still with no clear idea. As a point and click fan it is extremely harder to do it in this genre strickly. Your game is cool in that we are making terrain by observation. But the way I played it was to look directly under your foot and it always creates grass that way - I prefer grass to bombs, but that's just me probably. Any way if art is suppose to throw you out of your comfort zone this game was deffinetely art!

Thank you so much for playing it all the way to the end! I also think quantum-mechanical concepts are fascinating material for game mechanics and could help introduce some of these ideas to a wider audience, so if you ever find the right concept for your game, I would genuinely love to see it.

The Wave Function Collapse algorithm, although it isn’t a literal simulation of quantum mechanics, is especially interesting when applied to procedural map generation. I don’t know whether you’ve seen Townscaper, but it’s one of my favourite examples of this kind of constraint-based procedural approach. The game’s quantum framing is also loosely inspired by the QBist interpretation of quantum mechanics.

Looking directly at your feet to generate mostly safe grass is an interesting strategy, and probably useful balancing feedback! Thank you again; I truly appreciate it!

That's the deal, I don't have a concept for a quantum video  game that I would like myself. The best example of quantum game I know is actually a sudoku - different cells extremely entangled and each number has a cloud of possibilities that would collapse into exactly one place.

I agree, it is difficult to find quantum mechanics outside puzzle games. There is also a Quantum Chess game that works in a similar way. You might find this resource interesting: Quantum Fun.
