I think evil is bad, and life is enough of a challenge already, so I don't need to bring that fight into games too. Catharsis is an amazing feeling though, boldly designed games can be exciting and change you. It feels like this manifesto is going into a visceral battle.

I hope its explained in the body text itself, but it's really about how there are unique and delectable flavors that friction can provide that most games don't even come close to touching. Discomfort can be a valuable tool, though not one to be used carelessly.
In the same way that cozy games use a LACK of friction to also produce unique and delectable flavors you can't get elsewhere.
