i have tried it out! went through Rin’s, Sibilia’s and Luke’s routes (favorite route in that order, because of their implications of related Lore, too) and i’m assuming the 7th chapter: court day will be the final part of story with the rest of planned ends/content? okay, now my thoughts on the story, i thought it was interesting to find how Wonderland theme would play out in a hotel (with bits of contemporary culture and modern age considered too i think). the worldbuilding was presented off of the surface since it was still a demo, but so far, the lore left too much gaps with the mystery surrounding it (and still so little unanswered to give a solid structure);

Spoiler Here1. what even was the dead season? 2. Why this hotel specifically? 3. Where had all the other people gone (incl. the rich parents?) and was the hotel actually managed by these odd people all along? Etc. along with that, the beginning after Alice got roped in as one of human accidents didnt settle in properly from introducing the characters properly. the story assumed us already knew which one was who (the name Luke for the White Rabbit’s first event for example, compared to first meeting with the Elevator Man-Mad Hatter, and the others with their labels/roles shown right away ‘ah it’s the Frog/Fish/Pigeon/Caterpillar and so on’ from unclear reasons why they were referred to as such, and the order of some characters first meeting with introduction got a bit jumbled up, one example i could think up of was Berk and Gryphon). i got some references on their relation since it was a nod to that Alice in Wonderland classic, but i’d wished the narrative could slow down a bit to get us acquainted and attached to the characters as the Alice in this Hotel Wonderland, though it still was fun, with the ridiculous turn up of events
there were typos, like mixed up pronouns (her/him, Alice default name slipped in), the name Calestin->Celestin.

few visual game hiccups i saw was a bug of Alice’s sprite having her eyes floating up in certain transitions (with Berk most of time funnily enough) and when choices pop up, like this, i played the Android version so im unsure if it happened too with the other vers. otherwise, there were texts that got past the dialogue box. speaking of version, is this project worked on renpy, the LOVE engine or both? maybe you could try apply tag of renpy too to increase accuracy. nonetheless, i enjoyed it and looking forward for updates on this one!

Hi, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I noticed there are quite a few typos — I later started working with someone who's fluent in English, so that issue has been fixed. The bug where the character sprites disappear in the dialogue box seems to only happen on Android, I'll fix that as soon as possible too. Also, to answer your question, I made this in Ren'Py. Thank you for playing!
