EDIT: Okay, not sure where the Bestiary Entry 342 or 344 is, but I probably shouldn’t be able to fight the Estate boss after beating him. OH! 344 is probably the enemy that fled! No defeat, no bestiary entry!
I put an equipment list at the end of this post, in-case it helps debug any weirdness I’ve seen. Also, my Astra was Poisoned and at 1 HP, so she got Friend Defender all the time.
Strat was for Brill to Rare Treat herself to max power, then just keep Blocking, while Astra would alternate between Strange Energy on the Right one, and Mend / Cure Brill. When Right was down, do similar for the left, replace healing Brill with shooting with Arrows too, since Brill should be basically safe.
Ooh. The Stoutheart Shield guardian is still alive. Good! Now I can get my last Burmar Bestiary… Er… If I can beat them… heh. Not gonna think about that now. Goblins are easier. Hopefully. Quests unlocked! Cool! Great dialogue! mmm. Cheese and mushrooms! Skyrim and Oblivion jokes! And dragons! heh. … Cool! The Mimic Moorage is counted as a nation! Well, it has laws… I was right in my guess in why I was being pointed this way!
So, the side passage in Brumar with the invisible blocking things is supposed to be like that? Given that it’s safe now and still looks like that…
Yay for Drain fixes! … Oh. It still uses that damaging move, just doesn’t result in healing. Well. That’s smart. Annoying, but smart! Heh.
Devourer acts weird with Friend Defender when it targets my friend? Deals two instances of damage?
Frostfire Breath… Says it deals 4 turns of Frost Burn? But isn’t shortened by Time Heals All… Good thing I have Status Ward! At the end of the battle, I noticed it sometimes dealt 2 points of damage, I couldn’t explain, especially when it stopped dealing non Frost Burn damage after I Rare Treated all the way.
Astra’s Cure gives Brill some 5-turn effect? What is it? It doesn’t seem to be Poison Prevention, if that’s what it’s supposed to be?
Being unable to Counter Punch against the Lowering Rending Claws because it Lowers my Block before it finishes. mmm. But, it sometimes seemed to not Lower Block at some points? Maybe when it targetted Astra while Friend Defending? Or if it was against Cestus-Blocking Brill?
Audio interesting: If I don’t finish the loot summary before the Win audio finishes playing, the battle music comes back. Was surprised by this loot.
And I never made the connection that “All damage reduced” effects like from Mythril Thread Robe were working on Devourer. That explains a lot!

Minor issue: Sampling outside the Skyward Sanctum while undisguised, still uses Disguised Brill to say “There’s nothing to sample here”.
Just warping around because Concealed Prison is still the easiest way to get back to Cloudtop? Or maybe that’s just me?
