This is a solid survival action game with enjoyable exploration and combat. The animal models are one of its strongest features—the boars, wolves, bears, and larger creatures look good and are easy to identify while moving through the environment. The low-poly visual style is consistent, and the character model and combat animations also look well developed.

The health and resource displays, enemy health bar, and radar provide useful information during gameplay. I also appreciated the character choice and the available How to Play guide. Fighting animals, gathering meat, bones, and hides, improving equipment, and preparing for the boss create a good survival progression.

Stronger visual or sound feedback when an attack connects would make the combat feel more impactful. The prehistoric theme could also be clearer, since many of the animals and environmental elements currently feel more like a general wilderness or fantasy setting. Adding extinct animals, primitive tools, prehistoric plants, caves, or other recognizable prehistoric details would strengthen the theme.

One small correction: the game page describes this as first-person, but the current build uses a third-person camera. Overall, this is an impressive and enjoyable survival game with good animal models and a strong foundation.

Thank you so much for such a detailed, thoughtful, and encouraging review! I really appreciate the time you took to play through the game and explore all the mechanics. 🌲

I'm thrilled to hear you enjoyed the progression loop, the animal models, animations, and the HUD systems like the radar and health bars!

Regarding your points and suggestions:

1. Combat Feedback: Adding better hit-stop, screen shake, and punchier audio/VFX impact will definitely be a priority in the post-jam polish.

2. Prehistoric Theme: Great ideas regarding extinct fauna, prehistoric vegetation, and caves to really lean deeper into that setting.

3. Camera Perspective: Actually, you can toggle between First-Person and Third-Person views at any time by pressing 'V'! Thanks for pointing this out — I'll make sure to highlight the 'V' key clearly in the Controls section on the page so other players don't miss it.

Thank you again for the fantastic feedback and kind words — it really means a lot! 🙌
